As a tutor, I believe that every student learns best when they feel heard, supported, and engaged. My teaching method blends clarity with creativity—I tailor each lesson to the individual’s strengths, challenges, and learning style. I break down complex ideas into digestible parts and use real-world examples to deepen understanding, making learning feel meaningful and manageable.
A typical lesson starts with a brief check-in to set goals and review previous material. We then dive into the day’s topic using interactive strategies like guided questions, structured exercises, and active discussion. I close each session with a reflection and a short plan for next steps, so students feel confident about their progress.
With an MFA in writing and a BA in English, I am qualified to assist students across any English subject. I specialize in high school and college English, but have a strong background working with any K-12 level.
