About Janis
I have been giving music lessons (especially guitar lessons) for the past 10 years, whether in individual lessons (live or online) or in conservatories. In those years I have supervised more than 50 students aged 5-50, who have since taken lots of steps towards the discovery of their musical selves. As my goal has always been to motivate and assist students to curve their own musical paths, I emphasize on personal skills, abilities and preferences, while i make sure that some basic but essential knowledge is accumulated by the students. A fun lesson is the most productive one!

The structure of the lesson is adapted on the needs of each student. Some set material will be used, but the course of the lesson depends on the student's needs, preferences and also commitment. In anyway, we will go on an in depth exploration of repertoire, technic, improvisation & sound. All in a fun and productive way!

Giannis was a wonderful guitar teacher that helped me find more joy in playing guitar. Before taking lessons, I had taught myself how to play, which resulted into me having quite some gaps in my knowledge and skills. Giannis identified them and helped me work on them. While I mostly play guitar in a 'bedroom' setting, I wholeheartedly can say that Giannis is a great teacher and I would recommend him to the fullest
