About Vaishnavi
Hi, I'm Vaishnavi! I hold a bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology and am currently pursuing a Master's in Occupational Therapy at the University of Sydney. I tutor science for students in Grades 6–10.
My psychology background has given me a strong understanding of how people learn, stay motivated, and build confidence. On the other hand, my OT background strengthens my communication, problem-solving, and person-centered approach. I also interned at a special education school, gaining valuable exposure to supporting diverse learning needs.
I believe every student learns differently, so I take time to understand each student's learning style and adapt my approach accordingly, making science feel less intimidating and more like something they can genuinely enjoy exploring.
I am friendly, patient, and committed to creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace, while building a real understanding of the subject.

I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to their pace and learning style. My priority is to ensure students truly understand each concept, even if that means revisiting the basics before moving on. I use visual aids, interactive explanations, and short quizzes throughout lessons to reinforce learning and check understanding as we go.
I also keep track of each student's progress to acknowledge improvements and identify areas that need extra support. Regular check-ins help me understand what's working and whether any changes to my teaching approach would better suit the student's needs.
Lessons are typically 45–60 minutes long and are designed for students in Years 6–10 who want to build confidence in science, strengthen their understanding, or prepare for assessments.
