About Théodore

Student in final year of Masters of Physics at EPFL, I am passionate about mathematics and physics; and very enthusiastic at the idea of transmitting this passion :)
My university path allowed me to acquire solid skills in scientific subjects, as well as in the teaching of those.

In 5 years at EPFL I was able to work with many students of all levels (school, gymnasium, university and polytechnic) to teach them the methods that allow them to pass exams in math and physics -chemistry.

About the lesson

My teaching method aims for success in exams.
It is based on the repetition of exercises and archives of old exams, so that the student acquires the automatisms which will allow him to excel when he finds himself in front of his copy.

A typical course is as follows:
1) Review the course and the concepts with the student to ensure their understanding. If there is a gap, we will rework this specific point.

2) Repetition of exercises of increasing difficulty. Initially we spend a lot of time on the exercises to explain the method, the pitfalls to avoid in the exam, etc. The goal is then to do the exercises faster and faster as the automatisms develop.

3) Discussion after the session to guide the student's reviews for the next session.
