About Ankita
My lessons focus on helping students develop a deep understanding of the scientific process through a gentle and reflective approach. Together, we explore how to design experiments carefully, analyze data rigorously, and understand how errors can affect results. Emphasis is placed on mastering scientific reporting so findings are communicated clearly and accurately. We critically examine experiments, learning not just to follow procedures, but to ask why and how each step works. Building strong analytical skills is central, helping students interpret results with confidence. I provide guidance that adapts to each learner’s pace, supporting them in discovering their own approach to investigation. Whether revisiting science or approaching it for the first time, the goal is to develop independence and clarity in the lab. Lessons include practical exercises and reflective discussions to strengthen understanding and decision-making. Students gain confidence in assessing results, troubleshooting issues, and applying principles effectively. By combining curiosity, practice, and careful reflection, learners uncover new ways to conduct experiments with accuracy and insight. The process becomes not just learning physics, but understanding how to think and act like a scientist. Each session empowers students to excel and approach scientific challenges with clarity and confidence.

With over 9 years of experience and an MSc in Condensed Matter Physics, I specialize in guiding students through environmental radiation physics. I help learners understand both natural and artificial radioactivity, radiation detection techniques, and effective shielding methods. My lessons also cover the environmental impacts of nuclear waste, emphasizing practical and real-world applications.
I have worked with students from diverse fields, including environmental science, health physics, and nuclear engineering. Each session is tailored to the student’s background and learning goals, making complex topics accessible and engaging. I focus on building strong conceptual understanding while encouraging analytical thinking.
My approach blends theory with practice, showing how physics informs decisions that protect both people and the environment. Teaching this subject is incredibly rewarding, especially when students gain confidence in applying scientific principles.
I enjoy helping students see the invisible world of radiation and understand its effects on our environment. Together, we explore ways to make informed choices about radiation safety.
