About Janet
Watching students grow from complete beginners into confident piano players has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career. With 8 years of teaching experience, I have helped children and adult learners enjoy music while developing practical playing skills.
My lessons encourage students to understand music rather than depend only on memorization. Through technique, rhythm, music theory, sight reading, and creative activities, students develop confidence that stays with them both inside and outside the classroom.
Everyone has different learning goals, so I create lessons that match each student's pace and interests. I enjoy celebrating every milestone because small improvements often become the foundation for long-term musical success.

Learning piano becomes more rewarding when lessons are enjoyable and easy to follow. Every class combines demonstrations, practical exercises, and musical pieces that help students understand new concepts while building confidence and improving their playing through consistent practice and clear guidance.
Students develop finger techniques, scales, chords, arpeggios, rhythm, sight reading, music theory, hand coordination, accompaniment, improvisation, dynamics, and expressive playing. Practical learning activities allow students to connect technique with music while becoming more confident and comfortable at the piano.
Progress is supported through regular lesson reviews, personalized practice plans, and helpful feedback after every class. Whether preparing for performances, examinations, or learning for personal enjoyment, students continue improving while enjoying every stage of their piano journey.
