About Ivy
My teaching methodology for Piano is built on compassion, flexibility, communication, accountability, and positivity. I believe every student is unique, so I adapt my lessons to match their learning style and pace. My goal is to make learning the piano an enjoyable and rewarding experience while helping students build a strong foundation in performance, theory, and composition. I focus on clear communication, breaking down complex concepts into simple steps. I create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel confident to explore and grow. By holding students accountable in a kind and motivating way, I help them stay consistent in their progress. Through positivity and patience, I aim to inspire a lifelong love for music. Along with Piano, I am also happy to teach related subjects, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience for my students.
