About Darren
I started learning piano when I was in Grade 4 of elementary school, and since then music has been an important part of my life. Throughout my journey, I have participated in many competitions organized by my music school and have won several of them. I have also performed in various concert events as a pianist, which helped me gain valuable performance experience and confidence on stage. These experiences allow me to guide and inspire students who want to start learning piano.

In my lessons, students will start with the fundamentals of piano playing. I will first guide them on how to play simple melodies on the piano. Once they are comfortable with melodies, we will combine them with basic block chords to build harmony. After mastering these skills, students will learn how to transform block chords into broken chords to make their playing more expressive. When these three core skills are mastered, we will gradually move on to more advanced techniques to further develop their piano playing ability.
