My lessons are a mix of everything foundational skills! We begin with phonemic awareness: changing the sounds in words, hearing the beginning or ending sounds in words, or identifying words that rhyme. Next is reading time! We spend the bulk of the lesson decoding words, phrases, sentences, and reading passages to test our comprehension skills. Then we finish the lesson with some fun encoding skills to build spelling skills!
