About Mae
Hello! I am an experienced chess tutor with over 7 years of teaching high school and college students. During this time, I have successfully guided around 250 students, helping them improve their skills and confidence in chess.
My teaching philosophy centers around fostering a love for the game while promoting critical thinking and problem-solving. I believe that every student can excel with the right support and encouragement. I focus on clear communication and adapt my lessons to meet each student's unique learning style.
One of my notable achievements includes mentoring students who have participated in regional chess tournaments, where many have received awards for their performance. I am passionate about sharing the joys of chess and helping students reach their full potential!
