Hi I'm Eugene! Are you looking to start your musical journey or take your playing to the next level? Whether you’re a parent wanting a solid foundation for your child or an adult who dreams of playing that one favorite song, I’m here to help.
With a Performance Diploma (ATCL) and years of classical training in the ABRSM syllabus, I provide the professional guidance needed for exams and proper technique. But music should also be fun! That’s why I specialize in teaching students how to play by ear—allowing you to pick up the latest Mandopop, K-Pop, J-Pop, or English hits by ears and some music theory knowledge!
From mastering the "logic" of chords to performing with expression, my lessons are tailored to your goals. Let's turn those favorite melodies into something you can play with confidence!

I believe in a 360° Balanced Approach where theory and practical skill work together. Instead of just memorizing notes, I teach you the "why" behind the music.
The "Play by Ear" System
We use Solfège to build a sharp musical ear, combined with a deep dive into Music Theory and Chord Progressions. You’ll learn the patterns used in Mandopop, K-Pop, and J-Pop so you can hear a song and play it instantly without needing a score.
The "Efficient Classical" Method
For ABRSM students, I focus on Finger Ergonomics and Posture. By understanding the mechanics of how we play, you can master difficult pieces and develop technical skills much faster than "blindly" practicing scales for hours.
