About Kristína

About Me

I’ve been playing the violin since I was 5 years old, and music has been a central part of my life ever since. I was fortunate to study at renowned universities in Switzerland and Austria under exceptional teachers, which gave me a strong foundation for my own teaching.

Over the years, I’ve expanded my knowledge by attending masterclasses with various professors and exploring nearly every violin method book I could find. This continuous learning helps me refine both my playing and teaching.

I started teaching at 19 and now have 15 years of experience. Alongside my teaching, I’ve worked professionally as a violinist with the Slovak Chamber Orchestra, giving me valuable insight into performance and musicality that I bring to my lessons.

Teaching is more than a job for me—it’s my mission. I’m passionate about sharing the beauty of music, spreading positivity, and helping students find joy and confidence through playing the violin.

Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced player, I’m here to guide and inspire you on your musical journey.

About the lesson

My Teaching Approach: Flexible, Fun, and Focused on You

I don’t stick to just one method—instead, I take the best ideas from different techniques and adapt them to what works best for you. Every lesson is personalized to make learning the violin feel natural and rewarding.

What Happens in a Lesson?
We’ll work on building new skills step by step, practicing together to overcome challenges, and making sure everything clicks both in theory and in practice. My goal is to make sure you leave every lesson feeling confident and excited to play.

Why Learn with Me?
I approach teaching with empathy, patience, and a sense of fun. Music should never feel like a chore—it’s about enjoying the process and discovering your potential without unnecessary stress.

Who Are My Lessons For?
My lessons are open to everyone, no matter your age or experience. Whether you’re just starting, picking up the violin again, or looking to improve, I’m here to help. Let’s make music something you truly enjoy!
