About Keaton
With over 10 years of experience teaching saxophone to college students, I focus on helping learners build strong technique and musical confidence. My teaching style is friendly, flexible, and student-centred. I adapt lessons to suit different learning speeds and musical interests.
I train students in tone control, breath support, finger technique, rhythm accuracy, and performance skills. Creative practice such as improvisation is included to make learning enjoyable and expressive. I use real-life music examples to connect practice exercises with actual music.
I also use modern learning tools like recording feedback, play-along tracks, and personalised practice routines. Along with saxophone performance, I teach music theory, ear training, and sight-reading for complete musical development.
My lessons focus on steady progress, confidence, and enjoyment. Whether you want to perform on stage or play for personal satisfaction, I guide you with clarity and encouragement.

My teaching methodology for Saxophone focuses on building confident, disciplined, and creative musicians. I believe long-term improvement comes from strong fundamentals and consistent practice. I start by teaching correct breathing techniques, embouchure control, posture, finger technique, tone balance, and rhythm accuracy.
Creativity is included by encouraging students to explore sound, learn popular melodies, and practise improvisation in a guided and simple way. As a mentor, I provide encouragement, motivation, and constructive feedback to help students stay committed and positive.
Critical thinking is developed by teaching students to understand musical patterns, rhythm structure, and scale relationships. Accountability is maintained through clear practice goals, regular feedback, and progress evaluation.
Along with Saxophone lessons, I also teach supporting subjects such as Music Theory, Ear Training, Rhythm Practice, and Performance Basics to help students become confident and independent musicians.
