About Merrin
I am committed to helping school and college students become confident Spanish speakers through engaging and personalized lessons. With 20 years of teaching experience, I have developed an approach that combines structured learning with creative classroom activities. My lessons are designed to keep students motivated while building practical communication skills.
I use speaking exercises, grammar practice, vocabulary activities, pronunciation coaching, interactive quizzes, reading sessions, writing assignments, and cultural discussions. By connecting lessons with everyday situations, I help students understand the practical value of the Spanish language.
In addition to Spanish, I teach reading comprehension, writing, grammar, listening, pronunciation, speaking fluency, vocabulary development, conversational Spanish, and exam preparation. My aim is to help students become independent learners who enjoy using Spanish confidently in different situations.

I aim to make Spanish learning enjoyable, structured, and meaningful for every student. My teaching methodology is based on Communication, Flexibility, Creativity, Accountability, and Integrity. I believe students improve faster when they understand concepts clearly and practice them regularly in real-life situations.
I teach Spanish together with Spanish Grammar, Reading, Writing, Vocabulary Development, Listening Skills, Speaking Skills, Pronunciation, Conversational Spanish, Business Communication, Travel Spanish, Spanish Culture, and Exam Preparation. These related subjects strengthen both fluency and accuracy.
Communication is encouraged from the very beginning through conversations, discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and role-playing activities. Students build confidence by using the language instead of simply studying it.
Flexibility allows me to adjust my lessons according to each student's learning pace and goals. I provide additional support where needed and ensure students fully understand each topic before introducing new concepts.
Creativity helps me design engaging lessons using videos, games, storytelling, visual activities, and practical exercises that improve participation and make learning enjoyable. Accountability is maintained through clear objectives, regular revision, assignments, and continuous feedback.
Integrity is reflected through honesty, encouragement, and respect for every learner. I strive to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, overcome challenges, and become successful Spanish speakers.
