About Prapti
I am a Master's graduate in Applied Psychology with experience as a Teaching Assistant, and I am passionate about helping students develop both their understanding of psychology and their confidence as learners.
What draws me to teaching is the opportunity to make knowledge feel accessible, meaningful, and empowering. Psychology is a fascinating field, but it can sometimes feel overwhelming when you're encountering new theories, research methods, and ways of thinking. I understand that learning often comes with moments of uncertainty, especially when you begin to realize how much there is still to learn. Rather than seeing this as a setback, I view it as a sign of growth and intellectual curiosity.
As a tutor, I strive to create a supportive and collaborative learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and exploring ideas without judgment. My empathetic approach allows me to meet students where they are and guide them at a pace that works for them. Through discussion, real-life examples, analogies, and active engagement, I aim to help students build a strong foundation while developing the critical thinking skills that psychology encourages.
My goal is not only to help you succeed academically but also to make the learning process enjoyable, rewarding, and genuinely enriching.

My teaching approach is highly collaborative and student-centered. I begin by understanding what the student already knows about a topic, even if it is just a single term or idea they have encountered before. From there, I build on their existing knowledge to develop a deeper and more meaningful understanding of the concept.
I believe that learning is most effective when complex ideas are connected to familiar experiences. Therefore, I frequently use analogies, metaphors, and real-life examples to make psychological concepts more accessible and engaging. This approach is particularly helpful for school and college students who are just beginning their journey in psychology, as it allows them to grasp theoretical concepts in a practical and relatable way.
