About Rhea
I hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry and have been actively teaching for over 4 years. During this time, I’ve worked with school students, college-level learners, and university undergraduates, helping them not only improve their grades but also develop a genuine interest in the subject. My teaching approach blends academic rigour with flexibility. I believe in building a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I aim to make chemistry approachable by connecting lessons to real-world applications and scientific reasoning, which helps students see the subject as more than just memorisation. Outside of teaching, I keep myself updated through research journals, webinars, and collaborations with fellow educators. This allows me to stay informed on the latest teaching methodologies and chemistry advancements. I’m passionate about guiding students towards long-term academic success and building the confidence they need to thrive in any scientific field.

My chemistry lessons are designed to be clear, structured, and engaging for students at all levels—from high school to university. I focus on understanding each student’s strengths and areas of difficulty before tailoring the lessons accordingly. Every session includes a balance of theory explanation, practical examples, and interactive problem-solving to ensure effective learning. I place special emphasis on topics like Atomic Structure and Organic Reactions. These chapters are fundamental but often challenging due to their depth and abstract nature. I simplify them using models, diagrams, reaction mechanisms, and visual aids so students can better understand electron configurations, periodic trends, and organic synthesis pathways with confidence. Assignments and exam preparation are a key focus in my classes. I help students complete their coursework, prepare lab reports, and revise for tests using customised strategies. Through regular practice, mock assessments, and feedback sessions, students improve their performance and gain the skills needed to succeed independently in chemistry.
