Tutoring is very different to teaching a whole class. In school, you have to divide your focus between many students. But when you tutor, you can focus on that one student to make sure they get the support that they need. You can build a good working relationship and derive pleasure from seeing your student progress over time.

I always provide tailored tutoring to meet the needs of every student.
Complex scientific topics are broken down into easy-to-understand sections.
Then I test the understanding of each student to make sure that each student comprehends theory covered rather than just recalling facts.
Through rigorous questioning, student will have a chance to apply their knowledge. Alongside this, I will focus on examination technique so that the student's answer is structured to score maximum marks.
I will keep detailed records of each student's performance so that progress can be monitored and target areas of weakness.
The recommend length of my lessons are 80 minutes.
My GCSE lessons are for students aged 14-16.
A-Level/IB lessons are for students aged 16-18.
As well as working as an international schoolteacher, I worked as a private tutor in Hong Kong.
