About Jessa

Empathy is at the heart of effective teaching. I strive to understand the challenges and barriers that students may face, and I work to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel safe to take risks and make mistakes. I celebrate each student's unique strengths and accomplishments, while also providing constructive feedback and guidance to help them overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.

Teaching is a journey of continuous growth and learning for both educator and student alike. I am committed to ongoing reflection and professional development, constantly seeking new strategies and approaches to enhance my teaching practice and better meet the evolving needs of my students.

Ultimately, my goal as a teacher is not just to impart knowledge, but to ignite a lifelong passion for learning and empower students to become thoughtful, engaged, and active participants in their own education and in the world around them.

When I teach, I strive to create an environment where every student feels valued and empowered to explore, question, and learn. I tailor my approach to suit the unique needs and learning styles of each individual, recognizing that no two learners are exactly alike. Whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, group discussions, or one-on-one guidance, I adapt my methods to ensure that every student has the opportunity to succeed.

I believe in the power of active engagement, encouraging students to participate actively in the learning process rather than passively receiving information. By fostering a collaborative atmosphere where ideas are shared freely and questions are welcomed, I aim to cultivate critical thinking skills and promote deeper understanding.
