About Damien
I have previous experience teaching swimming and working with youth groups. I have graduated from the University Of Canberra with a Bachelor Of Writing, majoring in Japanese, Literature and Writing. Studying on exchange in Osaka, Japan has helped me to become proficient in Japanese speaking, as well as writing.

Uncorrected mistakes will become a habit if they are not broken early. I seek to correct mistakes as soon as possible. Rote learning is one method of doing this, though I believe a student should be taught how to accurately recognise a mistake once it is detected.
I believe in providing a passionate learning environment with students, building relationship and rapport, in a friendly manner. I like to push students out of their comfort zone, but not so much that it will demotivate learning. For me, patience is the key to teaching.
