About Kaukab

An academician that thrives on helping people, and going above and beyond with each and every task. I'm enthusiastic about growing and gaining new skills on my academic journey. I value learning from others (specially my students), making genuine connections and hearing about other people's passions. I believe in getting things done without complicating matters.

After completing my MBA in Marketing, I worked in the corporate sector for 5 years. I had the opportunity to work as an Area Sales Manager at Coats PLC, a role that I will cherish forever. However, the search for meaning in life led me to the love of life, "teaching". I switched to academia by joining a newly established university, Salim Habib University (Formerly Barrett Hodgson University). I have been a consistent performer for the past four years and have received outstanding feedback from all stakeholders.

An effective communicator with excellent management and relationship building skills. I possess the capability to professionally design and implement prudent curriculum and teaching methodologies. Diligently working on improving my research skills.

I decided to pursue my PhD degree from National University of Malaysia (UKM) (QS World Ranking: 144). The next five years are going to be dedicated to learning and producing research.

Outside of work, I, along with my wife, have a Facebook group, "Find Your Way - With Nayab and Kaukab". The aim of the group is to provide young students a platform where we can share learning and job opportunities and provide them guidance. I'm an avid sports lover who loves to write blogs on sports. I have been writing Freelance blogs for ARY Sports, Samaa Sports, and Cricket Pakistan. I make sure that I spend quality time with my family.
