About Ayaan
I am an Indian Swede who spent most of his life moving around the world - having lived in Canada and all over the Middle East before moving to Sweden at 14. I did the IB curriculum and quickly jetted off to the UK for my undergrad, while working often as a substitute teacher, teaching assistant and taking longer-term contracts as a teacher - while tutoring on the side! I have taught Swedish, sociology, mathematics, biology & chemistry. I firmly believe that it is as much my responsibility to rise to your needs, as much as it is your responsibility to come to tutoring ready to learn. Not all learning styles fit all learners - it sounds basic, but it is critical. I am currently in medical school at Swansea University and loving it so far. These lessons would be most appropriate for students in primary and secondary school that are hoping to advance their own knowledge and develop their own study habits, finding what works for them along the way. They would also be appropriate for early years University students, studying medical science degrees. My aim with these sessions is not to just barrage my students with questions - but to develop the right habits and mindset that will carry them forward into their A-levels, Uni studies and beyond. I have multiple years of teaching experience across IB schools in Sweden, I have also tutored a wide range of year groups while going through my Bachelors and Masters in Genetics and securing my place in medical school here in Swansea, Wales. Lessons should be minimum 1h up to 2h with a break in the middle.
