About Alexandria
Hello! My name is Alexandria Presley and I am a master’s level forensic psychology graduate with a passion for education, personal growth, and helping others reach their full potential.
Throughout both my academic and professional careers, I have developed a deep appreciation for the learning process and the unique strengths that each student brings to the table. My background in psychology and my professional clinical experience have given me valuable insight into how people learn, stay motivated, and overcome challenges, allowing me to tailor my tutoring to meet the individual needs/goals of each student.
I provide tutoring in mathematics, science, college/graduate school preparation, high-school exam preparation (SAT, ACT, and EOC Tests), and graduate level exam preparation (GRE, CPCE, NCE). Whether you're working to improve your grades, build confidence in a challenging subject, prepare for an important test, or navigate the college application process, I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where questions are welcomed and growth is celebrated.
I believe that effective tutoring goes beyond teaching content; it involves building confidence, fostering critical thinking, and helping students develop skills that will benefit them throughout their academic and professional journeys. My goal is to help achieve their immediate goals, but also become more confident, independent learners.

Every student learns differently, which is why I tailor each lesson to the individual's needs, goals, and learning styles. Whether help is needed in improving grades, strengthening foundational skills, preparing for a standardized exam, or gaining confidence in a challenging subject, lessons with me are designed to meet you where you are and help you progress at a comfortable and effective pace.
Lessons are online, interactive, and focused on understanding concepts, rather than memorizing information. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and develop problem-solving skills that extend beyond a single assignment or test. Along with specific instruction in algebra, geometry, science, psychology, and exam preparation, I help students build effective study habits, time-management skills, and test-taking strategies that support long-term academic success.
For students preparing for exams such as the SAT, ACT, GRE, CPCE, and/or the NCE, lessons include targeted content review, practice questions, test-taking strategies, and personalized study plans designed with the exam date in mind.
My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and challenging themselves. Academic success is not just measured by test scores, but by increased confidence, independence, and a stronger understanding of how to learn effectively.
