About Baylee
I am a Masters-level counseling student who has been student teaching, mentoring, and tutoring for over 10 years. I have taught hundreds of students with varying needs over the span of those 10 years, and have gotten great feedback on my ability to meet students where they are. In addition to having teaching/tutoring experience, I have a background in Psychology and Mental Health Counseling that ensure that my students receive the best holistic approach. I see students as people, and learning as a conversation. I have a B.A. in History and Psychology, and am a year away from completing my M.Ed in Counseling. Additionally, I have work experience in career counseling, and am more than willing to work with students on resumes, cover letters, and personal statements/college essays.

I have a B.A. in History and Psychology, and am working towards my M.Ed in Counseling. I give lessons to students of all ages within subjects of which I am comfortable and knowledgable. I structure my lessons as a conversation, bringing students into the material in engaging and thought-provoking ways. I enjoy doing hands-on activities. Although lessons are online, there is still a way to bring students into the work and allow them to be creative. I begin lessons by getting an idea of where the student is struggling, what goals they want to set for our conversation, and then tackling them together as a fact-finding team!

Details
Rates can vary based on the academic level of the student. Due to scheduling conflicts, I am unable to offer to travel to the student, but can be flexible in forms of communication. If you need to cancel, notification to the instructor must be made within 24 hours. Payment may still be expected if advance notice of cancellation is not given.
