As a tutor with experience in both Eastern and Western education systems, I take an engaging approach to teaching math and science at the middle school and high school levels. A typical lesson would start with identifying student’s needs, presenting real-world examples or hands-on demonstrations related to the concepts they are struggling with. I would then guide the student through the lesson using lively examples and step-by-step practice problems to illustrate difficult concepts. Rather than simply lecturing, I encourage an active learning approach tailored to the individual student's needs. What sets me apart is my dual background in Mechanical Engineering and Education. I understand the subjects from an advanced perspective but can break concepts down simply. With my diverse learning experiences, I am skilled at assessing each student's specific strengths and weaknesses to target instruction accordingly.
