About Joey
As a Mathematics degree holder and future secondary mathematics teacher, I take every lesson seriously and come prepared to help you make meaningful progress. I understand that every student learns differently, so I approach each lesson with patience, professionalism, and respect.
My goal is not simply to give you the answer. I want you to understand the process, build confidence, and eventually be able to solve problems independently. I will arrive prepared, communicate clearly, and tailor our lessons to your individual goals and needs.
Whether you are struggling with a specific topic or looking to strengthen your overall math skills, you can expect a professional, supportive, and focused learning environment.

I have a degree in Mathematics and I enjoy helping students understand math in a way that actually makes sense, rather than simply memorizing formulas.
I can help with Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, and other high school math topics. My approach is patient and personalized: we’ll identify where you’re getting stuck, work through problems step by step, and build the underlying understanding so you can solve similar problems independently.
I’m also pursuing secondary mathematics education because I want to make math easier to understand and help students become more confident in the subject.
Whether you need help preparing for a test, catching up on difficult material, completing homework, or strengthening your fundamentals, I’ll tailor our lessons to what you need.
