About Anna
I am a sophomore at Grand Valley State Honors College pursuing a bachelors degree in Secondary Math Education. I have completed through Calculus 3 and have 6 years of experience working with children of all ages. My skills have been put to use in volunteer, coaching, and tutoring capacities so my abilities are very well rounded. I currently work at a tutoring center in Grandville as well as teach summer science camps to elementary and middle school children.

My teaching method is based on simplicity. It is easy to get overwhelmed by math, but my strategy is always to simplify complicated topics and focus on the core information before expanding into the specifics. As a tutor, I make sure the student fully understands the material before moving on because it is pointless to build on confusion. By building a strong foundation of skills, I prepare the student to advance in math of all levels.
