About Brian
I am a 25 yr old math educator, trained in NY, now a transplant in CO. I've trained under waterfalls for years, learning the art of being a math teacher. Wax on, wax off, using the force, all of that jazz.
My real credentials are that I have my BA in mathematics from Marist College and my MAT (Masters in the art of teaching) in mathematics from Stony Brook University. I have been teaching math in individual and group setting for around 5 years now, and I've been doing math since around preschool, so I know a thing or two.

I like delving into the nature of HOW and WHY the math came to be, and not just the rules. Rules with no context are much harder to grasp. I set the bar high, but I break down material in such a way that builds you up to the expectations, not water down the material.
