About Tad
I am a Canadian Master's student of Environmental Governance and a certified TEFL (English as a Second Language) teacher. I have had the privilege to travel in South America and all around Europe, and love to share the joy of language learning, traveling, and all the unique cultures of the world! I have worked with families, tutored adult students from Spain, and worked with youth ranging from 4 to 20. I love to read, camp, play sports, and cook -- and as such, love to explore the passions of my students as a starting place to build vocabulary, conversational practice, and grammatical nuance.

I have worked with varying ages and abilities for years. Lessons can be conversational, be tailored to particular language needs (politics, reading comprehension, business language, listening comprehension, etc.), or involve a mixture of methods.
I love to give further recommendations based on students' interests. This can include books, podcasts, shows, articles, etc. that expand on students' particular interests and passions. Having learned French, some Spanish, and some German, I know how important it is to have fun and be interested while learning another language!
