About Kevin
I am a Biomedical Engineering student at UConn with experience in advanced coursework and leadership roles. I took many advanced preparatory classes in High School, including AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, AP English Language and Composition, AP Computer Science Principles, and AP World History, as well as a college-level English Composition course at Middlesex Community College.
As a three-year wrestling captain, I learned the value of discipline, resilience, and unwavering resolve. My athletic experience has inspired me to share the philosophies that have shaped me into the person I am today. I don't just want my students to learn the material; I want to teach them how to face adversity with focus and confidence by teaching them values they can apply to all aspects of their lives.
I focus on helping students think critically, work with discipline, and approach challenges thoughtfully by integrating lessons from engineering, athletics, and philosophy.
Discipline – Building steady study habits instead of relying on cramming.
Focus – Putting energy into preparation, not stressing over grades, but driving toward results.
Resilience – Learning from mistakes and not being held back by them.
My goal is to help students improve their study habits, strengthen their work ethic, and build pride in their progress.

As a Biomedical Engineering student at UConn, I offer STEM tutoring designed to help middle and high school students excel in Math, Science, and English Language Arts.
My approach goes beyond academics. I incorporate Stoic principles, such as focusing on controlling what can be controlled and accepting what cannot, to help students develop resilience, discipline, and confidence. By teaching both the “why” behind STEM concepts and the mindset needed to overcome difficulties within their courses, I train students not only to earn adequate grades now, but to seek success.
