About Amirul

I am a Master’s graduate in Mechanical Engineering and currently working as an engineer in the HVAC industry. My academic and professional background has given me a strong foundation in mathematics, analytical thinking, and problem-solving, which I now apply in my teaching.

I enjoy helping students understand mathematics in a clear, structured, and logical way. Rather than focusing on memorization, I guide students to understand concepts step by step so they can solve problems confidently on their own. I believe that once the fundamentals are strong, mathematics becomes much more manageable and less intimidating.

I teach primary, secondary, and pre-university students, and I also welcome students who are interested in pursuing HVAC or mechanical engineering studies in the future. Where suitable, I relate mathematical concepts to simple engineering examples to help students see the real-world application of what they are learning.

I am patient, approachable, and adaptable to different learning paces. Each student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons based on their current level, syllabus, and learning goals, whether it is to improve understanding, prepare for exams, or build confidence in mathematics.

I offer online classes as well as face-to-face tutoring within the Klang Valley area. My aim is to help students feel more confident in mathematics and develop skills that will support their academic journey and future studies.

About the lesson

I hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and am currently working as an engineer in the HVAC industry. With a strong background in mathematics and engineering analysis, I adopt a structured, logical, and concept-based approach to teaching.

For primary, secondary, and pre-university students, my main focus is on building strong mathematical fundamentals and clear understanding of core concepts. Lessons are conducted step by step, beginning with basic principles and gradually progressing to more challenging problems. I emphasize understanding why a method works rather than memorizing formulas, helping students develop confidence and problem-solving skills.

In addition, I also welcome students who are interested in pursuing HVAC-related studies. For these students, I relate mathematical concepts to basic engineering applications such as heat transfer, airflow, and system behavior, allowing them to see how mathematics is applied in real engineering contexts and preparing them for future studies in mechanical or HVAC engineering.

Before each lesson, I assess the student’s current level, syllabus, and learning goals. The lesson pace and content are then tailored accordingly, whether the focus is exam preparation, strengthening fundamentals, or early exposure to engineering concepts.

I offer both online and face-to-face tutoring.
For face-to-face classes, I am available within the Klang Valley area.
For online classes, lessons are conducted using interactive tools such as screen sharing and digital whiteboards to ensure effective and engaging learning.

My goal is to make mathematics clear, structured, and less intimidating, while supporting students in their academic progress and future study pathways.
