About Mohsen

I have experience in math teaching from primary school up to college level with focus on improvement of analysis capability and problem-solving skills. I will help you to learn the tactics of solution and better understanding of the math! I would like to show my passion and dedication to math as I love it!

When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?
Actually, I have been active in this area since a long time ago and before I knew about SuperProf.
Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).
I teach Math, mostly at high school level and also I had the experience of teaching math for university students via SuperProf. I have good knowledge of Algebra, Trigonometry and Geometry.
Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?
I had a high school math teacher who was very active in the class and inspired me about math.
What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?
Passion for the students and the subject, a lot of patience and also innovative ways to make the students interested in the subject.
Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.
I remember I was absent for geometry class as I was sick. I studied that chapter by myself and without the help of the teacher or my classmates. Two weeks after that, I had the exam and I got the full mark of that one. My teacher encouraged me a lot and advised me to do my best in math in future.
What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or are still facing in your subject?
Usually, the students have low self confidence in regard to math as they are afraid of the math. My challenge is to return this self confidence and self efficacy back to them.
Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?
I do like math and when I enjoy that I can make it understandable for others.
What makes you a Superprof (besides answering these interview questions)?
Interest and passion towards math, a lot of previous experience in teaching and application of math in my main major of study.
