Încă de pe băncile școlii, Luminița Dobrescu s-a remarcat printr-un set de valori morale și intelectuale care o fac un pedagog de excepție astăzi. Amintindu-mi cu drag de acea perioadă, pot confirma că a fost întotdeauna un model de modestie impresionantă, deși rezultatele sale la matematici erau remarcabile.
Dincolo de excelența academică, ceea ce o definea erau o onestitate și o seriozitate debordante. A fost întotdeauna persoana pe al cărui cuvânt te puteai bizui, fără nici o rezervă. Mai mult, spiritul său altruist s-a manifestat timpuriu; deși disciplina era una dificilă pentru mulți, ea își găsea mereu timp și răbdare să ne ajute pe noi, colegii care întâmpinam dificultăți, explicându-ne conceptele cu o claritate și o pedagogie nativă.
Această înclinație naturală de a-i sprijini pe ceilalți, combinată cu rigoarea matematică, s-a transformat în cariera sa de astăzi. Sunt convins că elevii ei beneficiază nu numai de cunoștințele sale vaste, çi și de integritatea și echilibrul său interior.
O recomand cu toată încrederea pentru orice poziție didactică sau proiect educațional, având certitudinea că va aduce valoare și profesionalism oriunde va activa!

Even back in school, Luminița Dobrescu stood out for her moral and intellectual values, which make her an exceptional teacher today. Looking back fondly on that time, I can confirm that she was always a model of impressive modesty, even though her math results were outstanding.
