About Lane
My passion for Mathematics developed through an appreciation for logical thinking and complex problem-solving. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, I completed a PhD in Mathematical Sciences. During the last 10 years, I have guided students through a wide range of mathematical topics and academic challenges.
I believe every learner can improve with the right support and encouragement. My teaching style focuses on clarity, adaptability, and helping students develop confidence through understanding. I work closely with learners to create lessons that suit their strengths and goals.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying mathematical applications in economics, technology, and scientific research. These interests allow me to demonstrate how Mathematics influences many areas of life. Watching students achieve their goals and grow in confidence continues to motivate me.

My Mathematics lessons focus on helping students build strong foundations while improving confidence in their abilities. We cover algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and calculus using clear explanations and step-by-step examples. I encourage students to understand the reasoning behind solutions so they can apply concepts effectively in different situations.
Each lesson is planned around the student's individual learning needs and goals. Through guided practice, targeted exercises, and structured problem-solving activities, learners strengthen their analytical thinking and mathematical accuracy. Regular feedback helps students identify areas for improvement and maintain steady progress.
I strive to create a positive learning atmosphere where students feel encouraged to ask questions and learn from mistakes. As their understanding grows, they become more confident and independent learners. My goal is to help students achieve lasting success in Mathematics while enjoying the learning process.
