About Kavya
My love for mathematics began with a fascination for patterns, problem-solving, and logical reasoning. I earned a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, gaining expertise in algebra, geometry, and applied problem-solving. Over 8 years, I have taught students across levels, from elementary school math to middle school math, advanced algebra, geometry, and SAT math, building confidence, analytical thinking, and conceptual understanding. I focus on creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel motivated to explore mathematics deeply. I adapt lessons to individual learning styles and abilities. Beginners develop arithmetic, number sense, and confidence through guided examples and exercises. Intermediate learners tackle multi-step problems, applied algebra, and geometric challenges. Advanced learners focus on SAT-style questions, higher-level algebra, and coordinate geometry.
