About Alexis
I am a student; currently studying to become a pediatric nurse. I have experience tutoring kids whom have special needs; as well as have volunteered for special olympics. Im very patient, kind, and effective in teaching methods. I have great attention holding techniques great for younger children, teenagers, and children with special needs to make sure they are grasping and understanding the information.

My teaching methods vary from student to student just because everyone learns different. I will start with few simple questions such as “Are you a hands on learner, would you prefer I show you first, would you prefer to work the problem out with me instead of me just showing you.” I like to let the student decide how they want to learn and i will make sure its easy to understand for them, without them getting bored or lost. I also, like to bring in games, music, and activities to also help them understand content better.
