About Eleni

I have 10 years of experience teaching Mathematics to students preparing for school exams, university pathways, and stronger analytical development. I earned a B.Sc in Mathematical Sciences, which gave me a deep foundation in abstract reasoning, structured problem solving, and the connections between different branches of mathematics. This background allows me to explain both basic and advanced topics with clarity, patience, and strong conceptual understanding.

My teaching approach is supportive, structured, and focused on long-term confidence building. I believe students progress best when they feel encouraged, not pressured, so I explain ideas step by step and adapt lessons to each learner’s pace. I enjoy helping students move from uncertainty into confidence by showing them how maths can make sense through patterns and logic.

Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with mathematics through continued study, exploring real-world applications in technology and finance, and solving challenging problems for personal growth. Teaching mathematics is deeply rewarding because students often discover their own intellectual strength. Supporting that transformation remains one of the most meaningful parts of my work.

About the lesson

Mathematics becomes far more approachable when students learn to see it as a logical journey rather than a stressful race for the correct answer. In my lessons, I help learners build strong understanding across algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics by explaining each concept with clarity and patience. I focus on making sure students understand the reasoning behind methods, so that problem solving feels natural and structured instead of confusing. Each session is designed to create calm confidence, allowing learners to ask questions openly and strengthen their mathematical thinking step by step.

Lessons are carefully adapted to the student’s current level and goals. Beginners work on number sense, equations, fractions, and basic geometry foundations. Intermediate learners develop stronger skills in functions, graphs, algebraic manipulation, and multi-step word problems. Advanced students focus on calculus applications, probability reasoning, complex exam-style questions, and analytical justification. Practice is always supported with feedback so that students learn from mistakes and steadily improve.

Maths lessons also help students develop resilience, sharper reasoning, and long-term academic self-belief. Over time, learners begin approaching challenges with calm logic rather than anxiety. My goal is to help students succeed in exams while also discovering that mathematics can be empowering, meaningful, and even enjoyable.
