About Peter
I am a Math & Philosophy double major at Purdue NW. I have been tutoring both formally and informally since high school and I've felt comfortable tutoring topics from geometry to game theory to symbolic logic. I have never seen anyone I tutored perform worse than they wanted, typically passing with flying colors.

I have lots of patience and am passionate about mathematics so I try to focus on the understanding of the material before the ability to do a set of practice problems. In my experience students found this much more helpful and have found their classes less stressful once the foundational intuition for what they were doing was in place. I approach subjects by starting with the underlying intuition and then building on it, so curveballs and future classes will be far more doable, and homework or practice problems will be a piece of cake. I have extensive public speaking experience, even presenting at an international conference in India, so I strive to provide clarity and detail that a teacher or professor might not. I also am familiar with how unapproachable or uncommunicative many people in the math field can be, so I believe I can provide an atmosphere that is easier to ask questions and get help.
