Lesson Plan:
My name is Mark Patrick I have been teaching for 6 years. I have taught subjects from General Mathematics to Calculus.
Objective: The objective will clearly state what the student will learn and what the student will be able to do.
Materials /Equipment: PowerPoint presentations, Math Antics, Khan Academy and IXL
Procedures: I will use the Gradual Release model, in that, I will give an example of a problem, We will work together on a problem and finally the I will assign a problem for the student to work independently. I also will provide a graphic organizer where the students have to fill in steps to complete the problem.
Assessment: I will use questioning to check for understanding.
My philosophy is that all children can learn. Students need an inspiring or motivational environment where the students can grow physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. It is my desire to provide an atmosphere where the students feel safe and inspired to reach their full potential.
