About Frederick
Currently a PGCE student, teaching Mathematics (with a Mathematics Scholarship) at Lady Margaret School with a NQT position already at Chestnut Grove Academy starting in July. I encourage passion and confidence in all my students for Mathematics both through the course content and implementing puzzles and logical thinking. My Mathematical understanding didn't really kick off until University due to almost lifeless teaching and so I thoroughly plan all my lessons and interventions to the best of my ability, incorporating different tasks and multi-facet learning - endeavouring not for this to happen to anyone else! I am only currently a trainee but that lends itself to the strong relationships I can build with students through empathy and sympathy. Plus with a keen interest in sport and music I am able to easily connect different subjects and discuss curricular activities to promote not only mathematics but a well rounded student.
