About Calvin
My interest in mathematics originated from a fascination with numbers, patterns, and logical problem-solving, which inspired me to pursue a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics. Over the past 12 years, I have guided learners of varying levels, helping them transform abstract concepts into clear understanding while developing analytical skills, confidence, and intellectual curiosity.
I use a teaching methodology that combines clear explanations, interactive exercises, real-world applications, and step-by-step problem-solving. I encourage students to explore multiple approaches, ask questions, and reason independently, fostering creativity and deep comprehension.
Beyond the classroom, I stay engaged with mathematical research, problem-solving challenges, and applied projects to ensure lessons are meaningful, relevant, and stimulating. Watching students progress from hesitation to mastery, develop critical thinking, and approach problems confidently is profoundly rewarding.
