About Celeste
My passion for mathematics developed from a fascination with patterns, logic, and problem-solving, motivating me to pursue a B.Sc in Mathematics followed by an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics. Over 11 years of teaching, I have guided students across various academic levels, helping them build conceptual clarity, problem-solving skills, and confidence in approaching mathematical challenges. I focus on creating lessons that are engaging, tailored to individual learning styles, and structured for maximum comprehension.
I emphasize a teaching methodology that integrates clear conceptual explanations, visual aids, interactive exercises, and real-world applications. Students are encouraged to ask questions, explore alternative methods, and think independently while developing problem-solving strategies. Each session strengthens analytical skills, reasoning, and intellectual curiosity in a supportive and motivating environment.
Beyond teaching, I remain actively engaged with mathematical research, applied problem-solving, and educational developments, which allows me to bring current, practical insights into lessons. Witnessing students progress from uncertainty to mastery, gaining both confidence and competence, is deeply fulfilling. Each lesson encourages students to develop independent thinking, curiosity, and creative problem-solving strategies, fostering confidence and flexibility in handling complex mathematical concepts. I aim to make abstract ideas tangible and relatable, connecting theory to practical situations whenever possible.
Lessons are structured according to the learner’s level and goals. Beginners focus on arithmetic, foundational algebra, and visual problem-solving techniques to build strong conceptual understanding. Intermediate learners explore functions, derivatives, integrals, probability, and applied problem-solving, enhancing reasoning and analytical ability. Advanced learners work on complex equations, differential equations, combinatorics, and higher-level mathematical reasoning to refine skills, accuracy, and conceptual depth. Each session includes stepwise explanations, guided practice, and constructive feedback to support mastery and continuous growth.
