About Harry
I developed my passion for mathematics early, fascinated by patterns, problem-solving, and logical reasoning. This led me to complete a B.Sc in Mathematics followed by an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, equipping me with both deep conceptual knowledge and practical problem-solving experience. Over 9 years of teaching, I have guided students through a wide range of mathematical topics, from elementary school math and middle school math to SAT math, algebra, geometry, and Calculus. My teaching style emphasizes clarity, engagement, and adaptability. I create lessons that are structured yet flexible, using examples, visualizations, and interactive problem-solving to help students fully understand concepts. I focus on encouraging curiosity, building confidence, and nurturing independent thinking through patient, stepwise guidance. Outside the classroom, I stay engaged with mathematical research, puzzles, and applications of mathematics in science and technology. This allows me to bring fresh, real-world insights to my lessons. Teaching mathematics is incredibly rewarding because I witness students develop the skills, confidence, and analytical mindset needed to succeed academically and approach challenges in everyday life with clarity and creativity.

Lessons include a mix of guided practice, step-by-step explanations, visual aids, and real-life applications, helping students build confidence and fluency.
For beginners, lessons emphasize foundational understanding in elementary school math and middle school math, covering basic arithmetic, fractions, and introductory geometry. Intermediate learners strengthen algebraic thinking, SAT math problem-solving techniques, and practical geometry applications. Advanced students explore complex algebra, Calculus concepts, and sophisticated problem-solving strategies while preparing for competitive exams or higher-level study. Each lesson is paced according to the student’s progress, ensuring mastery and confidence.
Math lessons also nurture critical thinking, persistence, and analytical reasoning.
