About David

Hello! I'm David Valente, a PhD candidate in Artificial Intelligence at the National University of Singapore (NUS), a world-leading institution in mathematics and computer science.
With a solid foundation in advanced math (calculus, linear algebra, statistics, probability, and more), I provide personalized private tutoring in Mathematics for all levels: primary (PSLE preparation), secondary (O-Level E/A Math), junior college (A-Level H2 Math), IB, IGCSE, diploma/degree subjects, and adult learners.
My experience includes serving as a university Teaching Assistant at NUS, where I led tutorials, graded work, and clarified complex ideas for groups and individuals. I've also tutored privately (including university-level math topics) and taught abroad in Europe with diverse students.
My approach is patient, structured, and focused on results: I simplify challenging concepts with clear explanations, real-world examples, step-by-step problem-solving, exam strategies (past papers, timed practice), and customized plans to build deep understanding and confidence.
Whether you're targeting top grades, tackling specific difficulties, or preparing for exams, my lessons are tailored to your pace and goals — available online or face-to-face in Singapore.
Rates start from S$80/hour (varies by level/format; first lesson often as a trial/discussion).
Message me to chat about your needs — let's turn math into a strength!
