About Dhammadeep
Hello! I’m a passionate Mathematics teacher with over 10 years of experience in part-time tutoring. I’ve had the joy of helping young minds understand and enjoy topics like algebra, geometry, statistics, ratio & proportion, percentage, and profit & loss. 1. Geometry

This topic develops logical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for understanding advanced math and everyday scenarios.
3. Statistics
Statistics at the school level focuses on collecting, organizing, and interpreting data. Students learn to read and create bar graphs, pictographs, tally charts, and line plots. They calculate averages like mean, mode, and median. These skills help them understand trends, compare data, and make decisions based on evidence and numbers.
4. Ratio and Proportion
Ratio and proportion involve comparing quantities and understanding relationships between numbers. For example, if 2 pens cost ₹10, how much do 4 pens cost? Students learn how to scale values and maintain consistency in mathematical relationships. These concepts are useful in recipes, maps, and real-life situations involving comparisons.
5. Percentage
Percentage is a way of expressing a number as a fraction of 100. It helps students understand concepts like discounts, marks scored, and increases or decreases in quantities. Learning percentage builds a strong foundation for financial literacy and allows students to relate math to real-world scenarios like shopping or interest rates.
6. Profit and Loss
This topic teaches students how to calculate the gain or loss in transactions. They learn formulas to compute cost price, selling price, and determine whether a transaction results in a profit or a loss. Understanding this concept is crucial for financial awareness and helps in developing business and budgeting skills early on.
