About Alisa
As a university student, I am looking for a side hustle that other students will benefit from. Therefore tutoring is ideal for me. I intend to make difficult concepts approachable and make maths seem less scary. I am especially fond of pure mathematics however I would love to tutor other areas such as statistics, mechanics, modelling with algorithms, physics and chemistry.

I am an enthusiastic and friendly student, eager to teach a wide range of students. I am very organised and will always come prepared for lessons with a plan to tackle new topics or questions. Since my years in sixth form I have gained lots of experience in tutoring GCSE students maths. I have tutored maths and physics 6 hours a week on schoolhouse.world and helped in the process of designing maths curriculum for a district of high schools in the US. I am excited to work with students from all levels, whether it's exam technique or learning concepts from scratch. My Qualifications: - achieved 10A*s and 3As at GCSE, including 9s in maths and English language. - achieved A*AAA at A level Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. - Notably, In my Further Maths Core Pure Paper I got 94% and 88% overall in my maths A-level.
