About Tara

I’m 22 years old and currently studying a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Alongside my studies, I have three years of tutoring experience and absolutely love helping students grow in confidence and understanding. Outside of university, I’m a dancer, and I love love love nature and animals! I’m a very social person who values spending time with friends and family, and I bring that same warmth, patience and positive energy into my tutoring sessions.

Perfect! We cannot speak highly enough of Tara and the incredible impact she has had on our 13-year-old daughter’s confidence and ability in maths. At the start of the term, our daughter was really struggling with Year 9 maths — she had fallen behind, lost interest, and genuinely believed she just “wasn’t good at maths.”

Fast forward one term of weekly tutorials with Tara, and the transformation has been nothing short of amazing. Tara has a gift for breaking down complex concepts in a way that just clicks. She’s patient, encouraging, and knows how to build a student’s confidence alongside their skills.

Our daughter recently received 100% on a maths assignment — something we never imagined possible just a few months ago — and she’s now tracking to do very well in her upcoming exam. Most importantly, she now enjoys maths and looks forward to her lessons.

Tara has not only helped academically but has truly changed our daughter’s mindset. We’re so grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any parent whose child is struggling or simply needs that extra support.
