About Sarah

As a passionate and inspiring Maths teacher with 8 years of classroom-teaching experience as well as 15+ years of tutoring experience, I will help you to gain a solid understanding of mathematical concepts, improve your accuracy and become confident at problem-solving. I have 2 years of experience teaching online and am regularly updating my teaching resources and methods to make the learning experience more interactive for my students. I have also worked as an examiner correcting the junior cert paper and have taught maths up to leaving cert.

About the lesson

- Lessons are topic-focused with a clear objective and planned to suit your individual needs. - Contain a mixture of skills practice, problem-solving and past exam questions. - I use a questioning approach which builds on prior knowledge to enable my students to self-discover mathematical concepts. - Extra practice questions will be provided to work on independently to consolidate what has been learned at the end of each lesson. - At the end of 6-8 lessons you will be sent an individualized assessment consisting of past exam questions to check your progress. I will mark and send this back to you with constructive feedback.
