About Melanie

Hello, I'm Melanie! I've been living in the UK since graduating Uni in 2012, and I've been teaching for even longer! I've taught GCSE Maths to groups of Y10 and Y11, as well as one-on-one to KS2 and KS3 students. This was very rewarding, especially when my students finally got Algebra (that's always a tricky one with most of them!) In my spare time, I enjoy walking, baking, playing Pokémon Go and spending quality time with my two cats.

About the lesson

Whether you are 7 or 77 years old, I tailor-make all of my lessons to suit my students' level and goals. I always start my lessons with a friendly chat. And I strongly believe we learn better while having fun, so my thoroughly planned sessions may include some ludic activities!
