About Tanisha

I am currently studying BSc Maths with Computer Science at the University of Southampton, going into my final year in September. Prior to that I have achieved grade A in Maths and Further maths A levels and a grade 8 in Biology, Chemistry and Physics GCSEs. I have had years of experience in tutoring resulting in significant progress made by my students. Throughout my tutoring experience, I have refined my teaching skills and further understand the requirements of the exam boards. I am eager to share my knowledge and allow more students to pass their exams with exceptional grades and helping them achieve their academic goals.

About the lesson

My first lesson will be free of cost, in which I will work with my student to understand their learning style, their needs, and their areas of difficulty. I will provide them with some practice questions to get a better understanding of their strengths and weaknesses. I will then create interactive learning content tailored to their needs to optimise productivity throughout the lessons. Understanding their learning style will help me ensure that they can grasp the concepts and techniques rather than memorising the solutions. The second half of the lessons will consist of more independent work where I will motivate the student to put their learnings into practice with a range of questions related to the specific topic. Throughout the lessons I will work on providing useful tips and tricks to help them perfect exam techniques. This will be further reinforced by providing them with exam style questions and teaching them the most efficient way to answer them accurately and quickly. I have a flexible timetable and will be willing to teach online through teams/zoom or in person according to what fits best for the student. These lessons will be 1-2 hours long, and you can contact me to discuss further details.
