About Junaid
Hello! I’m Dr. Junaid Majid Sheikh, an MBBS graduate and medical tutor with a strong academic and clinical background. I specialize in Pathophysiology and USMLE Step 1 & Step 2 CK preparation.
Having successfully passed USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK, I understand the challenges of preparing for these exams and the importance of developing a strong conceptual foundation rather than relying on memorization. My teaching focuses on breaking down complex medical concepts into simple, understandable explanations and connecting pathophysiology with clinical presentations and exam-style thinking.
I also have experience tutoring junior medical students and adapting my teaching approach to different learning needs. My clinical experience further allows me to relate theoretical concepts to real-world patient scenarios, making the material more practical and easier to retain.
Whether you are starting your USMLE preparation, struggling with difficult Pathophysiology concepts, or looking for structured guidance for Step 1 or Step 2 CK, I aim to create a supportive and interactive learning environment where you can ask questions freely and build confidence.
Let’s make difficult concepts simple and turn your preparation into a clear, structured, and manageable process.
Whether you are preparing for exams, strengthening your foundation in Anatomy and medical sciences, or simply looking for someone who can explain challenging topics in a clear and approachable way, I would be happy to help.
My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where you can ask questions freely, build confidence, and make steady academic progress.

1. Your techniques and teaching methodology
I use an interactive and student-centered approach, focusing on simplifying complex concepts and adapting explanations according to the student’s learning needs. I use practical examples, discussion, visual resources, and 3D anatomy applications where appropriate. I also encourage students to ask questions and actively participate rather than relying solely on lecture-based teaching.
2. Typical length of a lesson
A typical lesson is approximately 60 minutes, although the duration can be adjusted according to the student’s needs,
topic, and level.
3. Your qualifications/experience as a tutor
I am an MBBS graduate with clinical experience and a strong academic background. I worked as an Anatomy Peer Tutor at Shalamar Medical & Dental College, where I mentored junior medical students, conducted focused teaching sessions, clarified difficult concepts, and used interactive 3D anatomy applications. I also have experience in medical education, scientific research, and academic mentoring.
4. Who the lessons are for (level, age, etc.)
My lessons are primarily suitable for medical students and students studying biology/anatomy or related health-science subjects, particularly high-school, pre-medical, and undergraduate medical students. I can adapt the teaching level and approach according to the learner’s academic background and individual requirements.
